Festool P40 Grit 150mm Granat Sanding Sheets.
Use for: Heavy material removal, rough sanding, and initial preparation of very rough surfaces.
- Bare Wood: Stripping old paint or varnish and leveling uneven surfaces. Ideal for aggressive sanding of rough-cut lumber and removing significant amounts of wood quickly.
- Paints: Stripping heavy layers of paint, especially from large surface areas, to expose the underlying material.
- Modern Paint Systems: Removing thick coatings or leveling heavily built-up areas before transitioning to finer grits.
- Plastics: Rough shaping and removing significant material, preparing plastic surfaces for finer sanding steps.
- Solid Surface Materials: Initial heavy sanding to remove surface imperfections and prepare for finer grits.
- Acrylics: Rough shaping and initial smoothing.
- Composites: Removing significant amounts of material and leveling surfaces.

GRANAT discs are Festool's longest-lasting, highest performing and most popular abrasive. Ideal performance in nearly all applications, including bare wood, paints, modern paint systems, plastics, solid surface materials, acrylics and composites. Thanks to the special coating, clogging is avoided and a long service life thus ensured. Other substrates can likewise be processed with the GRANAT abrasive without problems. Thanks to the MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 system and the 49-hole extraction, work can be performed with especially little dust. This protects the surface to be processed and human health.
